Being lazy never works

I had though I could get by with just being a cisco engineer. Now I learn that the company I work for has put in a large IP pipe to India for outsourcing. Americans cannot compete with peanut wages. Frankly, I don't want too. Screw the globalist!

But just to cover my bases, I'm taking up VMWare Infrastructure - resurrecting my small business and putting a lab back together to continue my studies of Microsoft technologies, Linux technologies, and NetWare too!

The US that we grew up with has been outsourced and your fooling yourself if you think this global economy is working for America's best interest! Notice I said, "America's" not American corporations that care for nothing except fat cat executive salaries. They don't care about the American dollar, the American worker, the American middle class - and Obama or Hillary or even McCain are not going to change the circumstances that are now in place.

2.23.2008 update - Obama is in office now. Unemployment is the highest I've ever seen. The company I work for has done some global outsourcing to India. It could be worse after watching several programs on global companies. Their all whores who care for nothing except their profits.

I don't know what the answer to this mess were in now. Corporate pigs in high places and in government on both sides of the eisle have put all of us in this precarious position.

If history repeats itself, this economic mess will lead to the next World War. God help us now.

They could start fixing this mess by shining a light on who truly got us here. The democrats who wanted no regulation on fanny may. The republicans who wanted more banking deregulation so that they could do their dirty work. The federal reserve which should be abolished. The globalist who made their fortunes off of America only to leave her for cheap labor elsewhere.

Fall 2007

Finished the CCNP courses at Chemeketa - got invited to become member of Phi Thetta Kappa!
Wahoo! The reality is that the CCNP carries all the clout. Buckling down for exams! Exams are scheduled...crawing in cave for intense study!

It's football season! And my Dallas Cowboys are rocking the football world! Go Cowboys!

Patiently waiting for the showdown between Dallas VS New England! Dallas will win that game and the rest of the football world will again bow down to the boys!

I did what I said I would do

Well...things change. The cheese moves.

My new job is challenging for sure. I finished my CCNA with a GPA of 3.40. I could've done better by studying more but refused to give up my free time for exercise, my family, my dog, etc.

Moving on towards the CCNP now. Will take first exam soon. I've almost finished the CCNP course work via community college. GPA remains excellent. Spent an entire week in San Diego kicking back and enjoying life with family. Got shook down by the mexican police while in Tijuana. Mexico remains a horribly corrupt country. It's no wonder over 50% of their citizens want to come to America. Land of the Free - home of the brave.

Unravel all the Technology I have going.....

So I was thinking....I have rack mounted servers, switches, routers, two different flavors of firewall...one primary "hauls ass" pc, the wife and daughter share a PC...two windows servers...I need to get a life!

I need to simplify - not ad complexity.

So here it is...I've decided...this will be my website....that I'm sick of maintaining servers at home, that I'm dumping my static ip addresses....heck...I work on one of the largest most complex computer networks in the freaking US of A.

I'm ordering FIOS tomorrow at 44.00 a month and dumping by syncronize DSL with static IP's.

I'm dumping my home phone number....we have three cell phones...we rarely use the home phone...who needs it.

I'm dumping my owned URL's...I might even sale some of the spare PC's I have!!!

It's bad enough that I have to study work at night after doing it all day long........I think this is a good decision.
